The Master cabin and engine room are accessed via curved stairs behind a half-height glass partition with a sea life motif sandblasted into the glass. Eight (8) curved steps lead to the lower level, with a large mirrored bulkhead at the landing below. The engine room is forward, the Master stateroom is aft.
Halfway down is a storage cabinet under the side deck, and the steps have lucite handrails and step lights

- Crew Head:
The crew head features vinyl tile sole, a Galley Maid electric toilet, a vanity with two (2) cabinet doors below and a molded sink and countertop and two-tone fixtures. Above the sink is a medicine cabinet with a mirrored door. Above are fluorescent lights, an exhaust fan and a deck hatch with a removable screen.
The stall shower has a bi-fold clear glass door, a hand held or wall mountable shower fixture, a light and a Hide-A-Line clothes line.

- Crew Quarters:
Just aft of the forward VIP stateroom is access to the crew quarters. Over/under berths are arranged athwartships bunk style, and each berth has a reading light.
Above the upper berth is a two-door storage cabinet and an upholstered valance with rope lighting. The corner berth also has a storage cabinet outboard and two (2) large drawers below.

- Forward Companionway:
Leading down from the Pilothouse are four (4) curved steps with step lights. At the base of the stairs is a cabinet with a Whirlpool Thin Twin stacked washer/dryer and fluorescent light. Next forward is access to the day head, forward VIP stateroom and the crew quarters. In the sole is access to the generator room.
Going aft down four (4) steps is the midship VIP stateroom, two (2) linen lockers and the Sony EXCD-206 AM/FM/CD stereo that serves the forward three (3) cabins.
- Forward VIP Head:
The forward head also serves as a day head and has two (2) entry doors - one from the companionway and the other from the forward suite.
The sole is vinyl tile. The toilet is a Galley Maid electric model. The vanity has two (2) cabinet doors below and a molded sink and countertop and two-tone faucet fixtures.
Above the sink is a corner medicine cabinet with a mirrored door. Above are fluorescent lights, an exhaust fan and a deck hatch with a removable screen.
The stall shower has a bi-fold clear glass door, a hand held or wall mountable shower fixture, a light and a Hide-A-Line clothes line.
Also in the head are manual sump controls, rope lighting and two (2) storage cabinets behind the toilet.
- Forward VIP Stateroom:
All the way forward is the forward VIP staterom with a double berth on centerline. Above the berth is an upholstered headboard on a mirrored bulkhead with two (2) mirrored doors, giving access to the divided rope locker. Above the berth is a raised soffit with four (4) lights and a screened deck hatch to the foredeck.
Below the berth are two (2) drawers at the foot of the bed and rope lighting under the perimeter of the berth.
To both port and starboard are padded vinyl panels with frosted opening port holes with small ledges below to serve as night stands. Next aft on both sides are built-in cabinets with two (2) drawers each. Below, each has a storage cabinet. Also to port is a cedar-lined hanging locker with an auto light.
Aft and up three (3) steps is a landing with acces to the forward VIP head. Also in this cabin are two (2) stereo speakers with volume control, step lights, Cruiseair SMX II digital A/C controls and bilge access hatches.
- Galley:
Just forward of the Salon is the fully enclosed Galley with a hinged door to both the Salon and the wheelhouse.
To starboard is a raised settee to seat four (4) with two (2) drawers under the seats and four (4) drawers in the riser that raises the settee for improved exterior visibility. Next forward (actually in the wheelhouse under the stairs) is a Sub Zero under counter refrigerator. The Galley itself is to port, is U-shaped and includes the following equipment:

- Master Stateroom:
The Master Cabin is huge with a king size centerline berth, with an upholstered headboard and a fully mirrored aft bulkhead. Above the berth is a mirrored soffit with three (3) halogen mini spotlights. Below the berth are four (4) large storage drawers and rope lights around the perimeter.
Both port and starboard are night stands with two (2) drawers each, and within the starboard is a Sony EXCD 206 AM/FM/CD stereo.
Also to both port and starboard are chest high cabinets with six (6) drawers each side. Above are two (2) large opening screened port holes for ventilation or escape. Upholstered valances and lamberkins with rope lighting and pleated shades frame the port holes.
At the forward end of the starboard side is access to the large walk-in cedar-lined hanging locker. Within the locker are four (4) shalves with a JVC HR VP4700 HiFi VCR, a Sony DVP N5325 DVD/CD player and an RCA sat receiver ensuite.
To port is access to the private head.
- Midships VIP Head:
The VIP head is very spacious and accessed only from the VIP suite.
The sole is "tile look" vinyl. The large vanity has two (2) cabinet doors below for storage, a molded countertop and sink, two-tone faucet fixtures and a large mirrored medicine cabinet with two (2) sliding doors. The toilet is a Galley Maid electric model.
The tub/shower is a jacuzzi tub and has sliding clear glass doors, a hand held or wall mountable shower fixture, a light and a Hide-A-Line clothes line.
Also in the head are both incandescent and fluorescent lighting, a mirrored overhead, an exhaust fan, a manual shower sump switch and an A/C vent.
- Midships VIP Stateroom:
The Midships VIP suite is full beam and laid out with the berth off the forward bulkhead. The queen size berth has an upholstered headboard set on a mirrored bulkhead. Above are two (2) reading lights in the soffit, and below the berth are rope lights and four (4) large storage drawers. Each side of the berth has a three-drawer nightstand.
To the port side is a chest of six (6) drawers with a countertop above.
Above is an oversize screened porthole for ventilation or escape. Pleated shades and an upholstered valance with lamberkins and rope lighting frame the porthole.
Next aft is a full-size cedar-lined hanging locker with auto lights.
To starboard is the entrance to the VIP head and a matching full-size cedar-lined hanging locker with auto lights.
Also in this cabin are stereo speakers with volume control, digital Cruiseair SMX II A/C controls, overhead lights, a table lamp and upholstered panels on the aft bulkhead.
- Pilothouse:
The Pilothousse is entered via the port and starboard sliding doors and an aft door from the Galley. The sole of this area is a tile-look vinyl. The helm is on centerline with a two-person helm seat aft. The helm seat is covered in black Ultra Leather and has two (2) chart drawers, a slide-out footrest and four (4) cabinet doors below for storage. To the port of the helm seat is a two-door cabinet with countertop above. To the starboard side of the helm seat are stairs to the flybridge and a small storage cabinet furthest outboard. To the port side of the helm is the yacht's main electrical panel with generator start/stop switches and electric switch gear. Also in the Pilothouse is the following equipment:

- Remarks:
"Whatever" seems to embody all the Hatteras buyers' wants and needs in a Motor Yacht ..... three (3) double suites, cockpit, an aft deck, a huge flybridge and a good turn of speed. "Whatever" is as built and not an extended version. Interior joinery is oak with a white pearl essence toner, as was popular in the mid 90's on Hatteras production and custom series yachts.
Owner may consider real estate or some financing, as well as a trade for a smaller boat 45' to 55'.
- Salon:
The Salon is entered through the custom lucite door from the aft deck. Immediately to port are two (2) leather swivel barrel chairs with a wood three-drawer chest and a small ottoman between.

Unusual in her design, this 70' Hatteras was built to answer the demand of Hatteras buyers to have a cockpit, an aft deck, a separate on-deck galley and the updated Hatteras layout.
The aft deck flows to the Salon through a lucite door and oversize window. the Salon is completely separate from the galley, next forward. Separate stairs give access to the huge Master Suite with a king size berth and the full beam engine room.
The Pilothouse area, forward on the main deck, gives access to the forward VIP suite, the midship VIP suite and the upper/lower crew cabin with private head between the two suites.
